Day 1: What You Need to Do for Next Class
- Read through the Syllabus and the pages referenced in the Syllabus.
- Test 1 (take-home test): you will need to read the course pages on this Web site to answer all the questions.
- Exercise 1 (the student survey): make sure you attach a portrait photo, and answer all questions on both sides.
- Obtain the textbook:
- Read the pages the in the text as indicated in the Course Schedule.
- Read Text Editors for HTML and Script Editing.
- Mac users: Download, install, and configure TextWrangler.
- Windows users: Download, install, and configure Notepad++.
- Linux users: Download, install, and configure JEdit.
- Download and install Firefox.
- Download and install the Firefox Web Developers Toolbar Add-on.
- Post at least 10 times to the Discussion Forum.
